NOTICE
When you remove your battery from the holder for charging it (a) with your URBAN JUNGLE pedelec left in the open during the charging process, you should protect the connections, e.g. with a plastic bag against rain, water, moisture and dirt (b). If the connections of the rechargeable battery are soiled, clean them with a dry rag.
Make sure not to discharge your rechargeable battery completely (also referred to as depth discharge). This can occur, when the battery has run out completely and the URBAN JUNGLE pedelec was left standing for some days. Depth discharge will affect the rechar- geable battery of your URBAN JUNGLE pedelec permanently. A deep-discharged battery can only be recharged in exceptional cases and with special chargers. Contact your URBAN JUNGLE dealer.
If the rechargeable battery or the charger (or parts of it) must be replaced, only use original spare parts. Contact your URBAN JUNGLE dealer.
Charge the battery at an ambient temperature of approx. 20 degrees Celsius. Therefore, before starting the charging, wait until the temperature of the battery has increased or decreased after a ride in cold or hot weather.
Do not dispose of your rechargeable battery in the normal household rubbish (c)! It must be disposed of according to battery disposal regulations. Therefore, sellers of new rechargeable batteries must provide collection of old batteries and appropriate disposal. If you are in doubt or if you have any questions, contact your URBAN JUNGLE dealer.
Remove the rechargeable battery from your URBAN JUNGLE pedelec, if you do not use your URBAN JUNGLE pedelec for a longer period of time. Keep it clean and dry and make sure the battery is charged 50 to 60 % during storage (d).
If possible, remove the rechargeable battery from your URBAN JUNGLE pedelec if you do not use your URBAN JUNGLE pedelec for a longer period of time and keep it clean and dry.
Do not charge your battery over a long period of time, if you do not need it. When the battery is fully charged remove the charger at short term.
